I'm use to this now, but wanted to check I wasn't the only one getting this on Windows 8.
When you run Windows clean-up on your PC (I have to do this a lot or my OCD goes crazy) does yours always get stuck at the Windows Update Clean-up part?
Every time (and I mean every time) I run it, it will fly through the clean-ups, but once it reaches "Windows Update Clean-up" it will just sit there, I have left it for 1 hour before and it just don't do anything.
Then the annoying thing is, Windows gets so confused by this, that when I shut down/restart it will get stuck on "Please wait... Reconfiguring Windows". This screen will never go and the machine will never reboot, I have to force shut it down.
I now simply un-check the "Windows clean-up" checkbox on the clean-up screen to prevent this, but I don't like doing that.
It has been like this since I got Win 8, I never experienced this in previous versions of Windows, I do hope they fix it in updates cos it's really annoying.
Please tell me others get this?
