I broke it properly?!
My MBP won't boot OS X, but it will boot into Windows (Bootcamp) and I can boot off of the OS X install disc. So, logic says I've corrupted the OS rather than a hardware issue (and actually I can think what might have caused it).
In 'Disk Utility' on the install disc when I run a repair disk it says "Invalid sibling link", "Rebuilding catalog B-tree" and then "The volume Macintosh HD could not be repaired."
I assume that means I did a good job at corrupting it!
Any ideas please! Windows on it works perfectly, but I'm writing this from my iPad to try and spread some happy Mac vibes to it!
