Disk Spikes

Hi guys after some help. Few weeks back I started to notice my pc slowing down and freezing for few seconds even when just sat at desktop with nothing running. After opening task manager I noticed disk usage spiking to 100%.
Ive try few steps from googling 100% disk usage but nothing seem to fix it, even done disk checks and says my everything ok. So after no luck ive done fresh install of windows 10 but I'm still getting spikes of 100%.

Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem.
My system specs
Windows 10 pro 64
AMD Fx 8320
8gb ddr
Amd R9 200 card

Sorry forgot it's toshiba 500gb will post exact model tomorrow as I'm away from pc now.

Issue with mechanical drives for your OS is when it's under low load it's OK but as soon as an AV scan is running, or windows is indexing, etc it all grinds to a halt and will show 100% usage.

If you go to task manager, then performance tab, then click open resource monitor - this will give you much more information, expand the disk section and you'll be able to see what the cause is.
