I have the fully licenced home version of diskeeper 2007 which i have used for awhile with no problems.
Recently i ran the bootime defragmenter after doing a check disk which passed fine on my raptor hd x and found i could not do a bootime defrag.
A message comes up everytime saying something like "Couldnt open volume. Most likely cause couldnt get exclusive access"..blah blah and then i have to escape out of it and then load windows fine as normal.
Again ive done a separate check disk run which brings up no errors on the hard drive and have tested the hd with hdtune in windows to scan for errors/damaged bits but comes up with no error's.
General windows usage/gaming is not affected at all so its not critical but im still wondering why it does this or what could be causing it.
Has anybody else who uses diskeeper 2007 had this problem before with the bootime defragmenter as i have googled around to no avail.
I am using windows vista home premium and it does sound abit like one of those stupid vista admin rights problems.
Im probably clutching at straws on the above comment but any ideas would be appreciated.
