Hi im new here as i'm looking for as much help as i can find. The other week i bought myself a brand new 780ti HOF KFA2 but i've run into some problems and i haven't the slightest idea if its software or hardware.
I play games every day and lately my display drivers have been crashing on various games Wolfenstein is the only one to get a complete freeze that i have to restart my PC. Now ive tried all drives from the R331 all the way up to the latest that out now but i was still getting the crash. At the time i was running MSI Afterburner and in the nvidia forums someone said turn it off and it seemed to work but again sat and today 2 of my games crashed on me one of them is Watch Dogs which ive read that ppl are having issues with it crashing the driver and the other is Wolfenstein which totally hangs my system so i have to reset my whole PC.
I am really stuck atm cos i've played various games through the week since not running MSI Afterburner and they have been fine some i've played for hrs and no crash but today i did find out that the hyperboost as always been turned on (didn't know it had one lol such a noob) do you think that could have some impact on the card thus crashing the drivers.
Well hope some of you have some good tech knowledge as im outta ideas and i'm not really keen on RMA my card as it will cost me to ship it back which i'm not happy about.
EDIT: Forgot to mention as well that i don't have any artifacting or other mad glitches in games gfx wise and i don't crash on movies or desktop and youtube its always in games.
EDIT: Ive also been playing war thunder and ive had 0 crashes with that game it seems to be just watch dogs and wolfenstein.
