Display Driver Fail

I was running world of warcraft in the backround (windowed about 1/2 of the screen) and I had my hotmail client open, sending an email, I then got a black screen and it said "your display driver had stopped working but has now recovered"

why would this happen im not putting much pressure on my graphics card (MSI gtx 460 2 weeks old..)

anyone else had this problem?

Random things happen and will happen again in the future.

One way to look at it is the drivers/operating system/programs are coded by humans so wont be perfect

display driver crashes occur. I don't really know why, but usually it recovers fine. If it keeps doing it all the time, then you have an issue

Can be annoying if it keeps happening as it was a known issue with Windows with ATI and Nvidia cards. Not sure if it has been resolved. I had this a while back for a week or 2 and then it just went away. There was no real fix just a few suggestions for tweaks.
