Display Driver - Flickering issues after restarting

Hey guys when I install the latest Nvidia Drivers and restart the pc wont boot into windows the screen keeps going on and off.

Windows keeps installing OLD drivers 306 in the background which is conflicting when I try to install new drivers which was causing the issue originally.

I don't know how to stop it from installing the drivers all the time so I cant install the new ones yet.

You go into device manager and install 'Standard VGA Driver' for you card then uninstall the auto-installed nvidia package from control panel/add remove programs. On reboot it should remain on the basic VGA driver.

The auto-install of the 306 driver probably isn't the cause of your issues though.

Or boot into Safe Mode, run DriverSweeper and remove all Nvidia drivers. Then install the correct drivers.
