Hiya, just bought a new battlefield rush system with a 2g 560ti - I've just finished installing the majority of what I want on the system onto an SSD and now my Display driver keeps failing and recovering.

I've installed the latest Nvidia drivers, cleaned my reg etc but I dont know whats causing it - any ideas?

I'm using the gfx card via HDMI plugged into my TV (I use as a moniter) 1920x1080 if that helps any.

Thanks.

*I'm using driver ver 285.62*

I get the same problem too. wierd thing is mine only does it when i use my rat mouse on firefox, it's got the side buttons which are stock mapped for forward and backward page buttons

When i click back occasionally the screen goes black then the timeout thing pops up saying it's recovered and the firefox crash reporter comes up too :S

Never once done it during a game or anything else :S

I did a clean install and used driver sweeper/ccleaner etc - past hour or so its been fine, before it was frequent - MSN seemed to trigger it a lot but fingers crossed its sorted.

I hope :/

Yep seemed to have solved all my issues, no more screen black etc - I dont know if this matters but the 2nd time I installed, I installed everything (even the 3D) that I wont use and it seems perfect now.

Firefox - Tools > Options > Advanced > Untick Use GPU Acceleration

Same thing used to happen to me on various drivers ever since the 275's.
