Just got an error message on my Inno3d GTX 780 ichill whilst playing CS:GO. Its brand new the drivers are up to date etc. what could be the issue here? or does it happen once in a while with new cards? this maybe a silly question just dont wanna end up with a faulty card.

PS I had the inno tune it app boosting the card 10% if that might be any problem

Any help appreciated

Thanks

My display drivers usually crash when the Core is not stable. Could pump up the core voltage a bit to see if it helps?

Do you only get it with CS:go?

If it turns out to be unstable at stock, i would RMA it rather than pumping up voltage to keep it stable at stock.

It has happened once whilst playing CS go on ultra settings with the inno 10% boost setting on. I did get a warning that it could make it unstable using the 10% boost but thought I would try it, I will run it without the inno software for a few games and run heaven for an hour see if it happens again.

Is there any way I can see the error written anywhere or do I have to constantly be looking to see if it happens again? (whilst running heaven)

Would I be ok to run heaven for 5 hours and see if it has any issues on ultra settings?

If I tell you the voltage might you know if its enough?

Also, alt+tabbing whilst the boost was on caused frame drops, with out it alt tabbing is very smooth

Voltage varies from chip to chip, so couldn't tell you if it is enough. 4 or 5 runs of heaven on max settings usually will cause it to crash if it is unstable.

Not sure if this is helpful or not but CS:GO had a update earlier on and I was getting terrible microstutter in game with a pair of HD 7850'. About 2 hours ago there was another patch and the microstutter has gone away so maybe that has something to do with it?

Didn't update it yet, will try tonight.

Basically I think the Inno 10% boost setting is not configured correctly. perhaps it isn't raising the voltage to match the boost in speed or something making it unstable..

When I have a 2% boost on the voltage is 100% still should this not be 102%? to match the boost?
