Think anyone could help me?
I've just assembled my mini itx set up. gone to power it on but can't get no display from the on board hdmi output.
The hdmi lead works fine, the monitor is fine on hdmi.
I can't even get a bios screen come up.
The board is an MSI 90z gaming g series.
I haven't got my GFX card yet as it's on back order.
I'm not sure what the pc does when it boots but all fans run for about 10 seconds then the pc shuts down. It's restarts straight away then fans go to idle and power remains stable.
Can't tell with no display what it is doing.
Could anyone offer any ideas?
Not 100 percent sure the ram I've bought its compatible, I presumed it was.
I've tried other ram, that didn't work but same again, not sure it was compatible.
My spec is:-
Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM

MSI Z97I Gaming ACK Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard

G.Skill TridentX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C10 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit

Corsair Hydro H100i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Silverstone Strider Gold Series - 550 Watt

Do you have the 8pin ATX plugged in?

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?

Try a single RAM stick at a time, disconnect the drives as you dont need them attached to get into the BIOS.

Thanks for the replies.
The problem was a couple of bent motherboard CPU pins. Don't know how the hell that happened!
