display issue :-(

So. People may remember my older thread on here. I have an MSI G41M-P25 board that ive sucessfully installed and it runs fine eg all lights up and every fan spins the way it is suppost to

Now. Cant get anything to display out the vga port for some reason. I do have a gt9600 sitting around that i aint put in yet due to not have a dvi adapture.. anyway to get the picture on the screen without getting the adapture?

Ive tried two monitors and thought they was broken :-(

What CPU are you using? Does it have onboard graphics?

Intel quad core and yes it has on board thats what i am trying to use

Sounds like dvi may be selected as preferred and the only way to change that is via the bios

Oh grand. Need to go get an adaapture then! If not can i remove the cmos battery and itll reset?

You don't normally have to select DVI or VGA in the BIOS but the onboard graphics may have been disabled.

Try clearing the CMOS as this will restore the settings back to default which should have the onboard graphics enabled.

No. Not working at all system is running nothong on screen battery pull dodnt work
