Hi guys! really need some help with my PC! When playing games usually after a few hours of use the display suddenly starts to black out or occasionally seriously artefact, the audio continues unaffected and the display recovers then fails in a cycle until the audio freezes up and the display cuts out either restarting or requiring a manual restart. I also assume my pc has crashed when the audio locks up as it is totally unresponsive. Neither my CPU or GPU get that hot when this is happening 59 degrees max on my GPU and 71 max on the CPU. I have also had crashes when just watching videos it is just more common for them to happen with games.
system: i7-920, 6 GB RAM, GTX 780, Corsair TX750 PSU, Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R and running windows 7 64 bit.

Did this start happening when you upgraded the drivers or has it been an issue for a while?? I'd probably go down the rma route if it didn't coincide with a driver update and the tempts are ok

um it started happening a little after a driver update I think but couldn't be sure plus I have clean installed drivers again and rolled back to no effect. Is there someway to prove its my card? maybe run it in a different pc?

There is something else that might change things, when the pc locks up on boot the display wont work the monitor suggests it is looking for input but finds nothing. If I remove the motherboard battery and start it again the computer will boot does this change anything? is it maybe a mobo issue?

After rolling back drivers I have yet to have the same crashes or problems but "I am having difficulty with my pc crashing all of a sudden in the middle of a game no warning then being unable to boot it afterwards crashing when i get to the windows log in screen
