Recently I've had a mix of different issues and I'm trying to work out the candidate. My monitor is a Benq GW2765-HT, GPU a GTX 570 and they're connected by DP cable. Max res for the monitor is a 2560x1440.
I've been having a flickering display for awhile which I can't sort - I've replaced the DP cable (twice) and tried reseating the GPU to no avail. Previously I was using an HDMI cable (at 1920x1080 res) and didn't have the issue, and I don't think I had the issue then. I connected a different monitor recently via DP (only at 1920x1080) and didn't notice any flickering. Any ideas?
Secondly, the display stopped working last week. I bought a new DP cable, connected it all up and it's working - but the display doesn't look right. Everything is just slightly scratchy to look at. I've seen this before when I was forcing 2560x1440 over HDMI but not since I went the DP cable route. Any ideas on that front?
I'm starting to think about just picking up a cheap second hand GPU instead but I'm really not sure if that's the cause of the issues so I'd welcome any advice.
