https://imgur.com/a/bNSE4OcAfternoon, I received a pre build from Overclockers this week, and decided to get windows up and running and install stuff i needed on there until my worktop arrives and can set it up properly.

However I'm running into a couple of issues I started with plugging in display port and got no image on screen, and the same with HDMI, I tried my second monitor with displayport at this point and would just get bios screen with green lines everywhere then it would just go black.

Then with HDMI it would do the same, green lines all over but would see the start of windows setup etc

After looking (pics attached) the ports on the 3070 are very close to top of the separator, could this be the issue because the cable isn't all the way in?

This is what I have

Intel Core i7-10700K 3.8GHz (Comet Lake) Socket LGA1200 Processor - Retail
Asus ROG Strix Z490-F Gaming (Socket LGA 1200) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming OC 8GB GDDR6 Graphics Card

Plug the monitor cable into one of the motherboard ports just see if you can get a display . This will be using thd onboard graphics for ths time being but hopefully you can install Windows and all drivers then you can try your gpu again.

Let me no if it works with the motherboard display port or hdmi

Tried direct into motherboard and it works fine, must be not connecting properly because of the seperator then maybe or at least i hope, not sure what to try

I'd try removing the GPU then putting it back in as it might have been rattled around in shipping.
