Can someone recommend me a DP cable for Freesync? I purchased one from elsewhere as they're currently sold out on OcUK and its a Dell one and its fine in the sense I get a display but running the Freesync test (the Windmill one) I get NO Freesync support - screen tearing is quite bad. The cable that came with the monitor works fine but is rather short. Freesync enabled in CCC - yes.

Clearly all DP cables are NOT the same. Can someone recommend me one they know actually WORKS with Freesync? I'm quite annoyed honestly.

Thanks.

edit: turns out the seller who sold me the cable is not actually a Dell cable despite being advertised as such!

THIS the official list of DP cables as certified by DisplayPort/VESA. If your cable is NOT listed here its not been tested as being VESA compliant and will very likely will have problems at higher frequencies/resolutions/4K. If your monitor is flickering/won't wake from sleep it could well be the cable. If you DO buy a cable on this list make sure its 1.2 compliant and not the older 1.1 standard (twice the throughput)!

edit: new (certified) cable arrived today. Not exactly cheap but Freesync WORKS.
