So I just got an EX3501R 35 inch monitor.. But the display port cable it came with is little on one end and large on the other. My graphics card can fit the large end... but there is no space for the small end on the monitor itself. Like, ehhhh? So at the moment I have it on HDMI.
Do i need to go out and buy a display port cable with two large ends? Or am I missing something???

It doesn't say anything about what the cable itself supports.

'Display Port currently supports a maximum of 8.64 Gbit/s data rate and WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution over a 3 metre cable' refers to what DisplayPort as a standard supports (or did at that time).

If your graphics card has HDMI 2.0, then it should do 3440x1440 @ 100hz over it, as ive got the same monitor, with a Vega 64 (which has), and it works fine, as tested it.
