Hi all - im looking for a displayport 1.4 (or hdmi 2?) active converter that can change to a display port 1.2 (and yes hdcp 2.2 complient)

DP1.2 isnt HDCP complient and thats all my 4k screen has. ALthough i have found a HDCP 2.2 > HDCP 1.4 HDMI converter but it only does 4k@30hz not the 60 thats DP does

i`ve found one - its an active converter - can convert HDCP 2.2 so it can be played on HDCP 1.4 screens , perfectly legal as well, as its not stripping the HDCP out of the signal.

Could you say it's description please so I can look it up?

I've got a 4k monitor. HDCP 2.2 only over hdmi, freesync only over DP. And it's a pain. A single cable solution would be brilliant.

Its HDMI based although the company are working on a DP version - it also works at 18G 4:2:0 as well so 60hz could well be doable;

description is

Bidirectional HDCP Converter, v2.2 and v1.4 - not on ebay
