Display port issue

Hey guys so I just brought a 1440p 27" monitor been using hdmi but just changed it to display port as I found cheap one in black Friday in my local computer store.

anyways the screen keeps going black while gaming for a split second then fine again randomly happens

I have r9 390 overclocked
On windows 10
Latest drivers

if that helps, works fine on hdmi and dvi

Any help appreciated as I'm new to display port

turns out its now doing it on hdmi duff monitor i think even set gpu back to standard clock speeds still does it

I have a similar issue.

I purchased the Sapphire Nitro R9 390 and the iiyama Prolite B2783QSU 1440p from here.

I keep getting random split second second blank screens.

I am yet to try connecting via HDMI/DVI, but I got this combo for freesync, which by all accounts needs to run on displayport.

I have tried the different DP ports on the card and it still happens, the DP cable that came with the monitor doesn't work, so I am using an old one. I have a new DP cable coming to check that.

Current setup is Windows 7 - i7 3770K, 32GB RAM, HX-750 PSU.

I'm running the Crimson 15.11.1 drivers.

I swap a Samsung monitor every day at work from another desk to my desk as I like it. A couple of times I have come across the same kind of issue where I will get random one to thirty second black out's. Turns out if I just reseat the HDMI cable on the monitor the rare time it happens it will stop. Seems to be a bad contact.
