So i got a 3090 fe last week all working fine in my system using the display port.
swapped it into my new pc i build last night and none of the display ports are working but HDMI is working...

new pc spec are:
5800x
32gig corsair ram 3600
msi b550

i know the cable and monitor are working fine because my 1080ti works fine

ive tried all 3 ports and drivers.

Similar problem for me https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/weird-displayport-issues.18924472/
Some people get no display at all with DP, whilst others are unable to get to/see the bios/ uefi, but the screen powers on when windows loads. I don't know if these are all linked, or seperate issues. Some forum posts suggest enabling or changing csm settings in the bios. Others have found updating the cards firmware works.

Yes tried 2 cables the one is plugged into my 1080ti at the mo and working fine, if I unplug and put into 3090fe nothing no signal into monitor
but the HDMI is working fine with the card..

What's strange is the display port was working fine before I moved it into new pc.

update: i just popped the 3090fe into other pc using the DP and worked for a bit....windows logging screen popped up! after logging in screen went black

maybe should RMA it?

I had this same black screen issue with a 1080 Ti recently and it turned out to be the stupid game ready drivers. Soon as windows boot I'd get my login screen and I'd login and ... black screen.

It was very hit or miss but most of the time I'd get that black screen but only after logging into my account. So I fixed it by uninstalling those NVIDIA drivers and going to a more recent driver. That fixed it completely and no more black screens at all, not even once.
