Display port to DVI adapter no signal

Hi

Ive just bought http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-086-OK&groupid=1929&catid=1757
to use on my KFA2 GTX 680 OC via my dual link dvi cable, im getting no signal though on my monitor? is this the right adapter? its so i can use 120 hz with my monitor.

You need a Dual Link DP Adapter for 120hz

Yea it should. Is it nit doing anything? As long as its 1080p it should work ok

My monitor is only 1080p. This 680 is turning into a pain in the arse, don't fancy paying £80 to get 120 hz. Surely there's another way ?? While I was waiting for this card I stuck in my old gts 240, dvi 120 hz no problem . This card 3 mini hdmi and one display port, any other suggestions ?

Max of hdmi is 60 hz. No it's the kfa2 gtx 680 oc v4 the all white card, 3 mini hdmi and 1 standard display port

Yup looks like that adapter it is. By the way google bizlink dp to dual link dvi. On the bay they go for £35

On the ViewSonic site, it states that the HDMI port on the monitor is 1.4a. You may be lucky with it working via a direct HDMI cable.

Got a hdmi in at the moment, only showing maximum of 60 hz

£29.99 delivered ......bought just hope it's normal display port not mini or I'm gonna rip the 680 out stamp on it and put the gts 240 back in haha I was getting 70 fps on medium on battlefield 3 with it? Lol cheers everyone

bought powered adapter , 120 hz working ..........but f@@@ing 3d doesn't !!!!!!!!
