Hi, I have 3 HDMI screens connected to my PC. (2 monitors and 1 TV).

I don't use them all at the same time, the TV is our regular TV and just use it fr watching Blurays from the PC.

Anyway....

I am looking at a new Graphics card and it only has 1 DVI and 1 HDMI connector at the back, the rest are display ports. Am I OK using an inexpensive adapter to plug an HDMI cable into the DisplayPort on the GPU? I think I will be but no first hand experience so just checking.

They are both digital signals so there should be no loss in quality.

I have also just read some reviews and everyone else is saying the same that it should be fine. I think display port gets rid of the risk of running into HDCP protected devices seems as many people use them as home theater systems.

I have a display port to DVI and i see no problems with them

Thank you. Sounds good.
