Display port version

Hello

I'm wondering I'm using display port on my monitor and graphics card.

How do I find out what version my cable is and is there much difference in upgrading to a faster speed?

Unless your current cable is stopping you running your display at its full capability as far as the GPU can drive, there's no difference.

Ultimately it's just data rates, so if a cable is meeting the required speeds for your equipment then you won't notice it being a thing at all.

I wouldn't worry about what rating your cable has unless it's not working properly, at which point just buy a better one.
