Display problems - can anyone help?

Hi there,

I've been playing with some images in PS and I've saved them and uploaded and the images inside PS are different to the images on the web or outside of PS. The brightness, contrast and general colour is completely different.

I've tried changing the profiles and calibrating the monitor using 'Natural Colour' and this has done nothing to sort out the problem. I have a Samsung SyncMaster 223BW.

Anyone have any idea how I can sort this problem out and get images that are true?
