So last night i was playing battlefield 3 on my pc (specs in sig) and the screen split in half, but the left side was on the right, and the right side was on the left. This was with my 6950 overclocked and over volted.

A restart of windows sorted the problem out, but it happened again later. The second time it happened the screen had a kind of motion blur effect on it.

Is it a bug (driver for example), or a dodgy overclock on my card? Is it likely to be the memory or the core causing this?

EDIT - this guy seemed to have the exact same problem as me.

first of all try updating to the latest drivers. the latest drivers have been designed for BF3 mainly as its the biggest release of the year so far apart from MW3.

Also, use MSI Afterburner to overclock your GPU and unigine heaven to benchmark the gpu and/or furmark... just watch the temps and watch out for artefacts!

Could be a dodgy overclock!
