I've read about quite a few people having problems with their displayport adaptors when running 3 monitors or Eyefinity from their 5800 series GPUs. I had the same problem but have resolved it.
The syptom was an irregular but frequent blinking of the display when playing games, videos or other highly intensive graphical use. Emailed overclockers with the problem and they suggested upgrading the GPU BIOS (which I did), and also to check I had a dual link cable. What's that? I asked myself. Well, the DVI cable I was using didn't have all the pins, it was a single link cable. So ordered a dual link cable and VOILA!!! No more problems, video and COD run perfectly.
Thanks to Dean Hillier @ overlclockers for his advice, I never would have figured that out on my own.
This link explains all about the different DVI cables http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html#Page06
