Hello, I want to rock a 3 monitor setup on my 5850, I don't want to do a eyefinity setup as I want each monitor to be independent (2xlandscape, 1xportrait)

But which adapter do I need? I believe it's a regular displayport port, not a mini.

Cheers! :)

I've already got the first two setup running HDMI (G2420HD) and the other via DVI (G2420HDBL) the 3rd is going to be my old 20" BenQ in portrait mode which is going to be DP > DVI.

fair enough, in that case the adapter i mentioned/linked is the sort of thing you need.

has to be an ACTIVE adapter as your using DP-dvi.

I don't know about the OP but I can't make any sense out of that comment.

Can you explain?

"if you haven't decided on the other screens, it should come with a dvi-vga adapter, then run an hdmi - dvi cable.

well one screen of the 3 is being setup via DP, just wanted to check if he'd got the other 2 setup, so use the dvi-vga adpater for one and run an hdmi cable to dvi connector to the other.
