Setup has a GPU with HDMI and DP outputting to a DP-only monitor and another HDMI monitor. Generally in dual screen. In some cases I'd prefer to run single screen, but be able to quickly switch to the other display as mains creen without going into the settings and changing the designated main display. Does a switch exist that takes both HDMI and DP inputs with similar outputs to match?

We can't link competitors here, and i can't personally speak to a specific product myself (not something i need), but a google search suggest products exist.

What I specifically mean is a switch that has 1 x HDMI in>out and 1 x DP in-out so I can switch between either rather than constantly adjusting in Windows. All the boxes I find are either HDMI in and DP out or the other way. Nothing that just passes both through with a switch.
I don't think a switch can achieve that, a monitor profile switcher might do what you're after.
