displayport problems

trying to set up an eyefinity display with 2 x 19" VGA monitors connected via DVI-VGA adaptors and a DVI widescreen connected to the displayport via of these

no matter what I have tired I cannot get any output from the displayport the monitor just goes into sleep mode. The catalyst drivers recognise a mobile pc display and shows a resolution of 640x480

note card is a HIS 5870

Why dont you trie using another dvi to vga converter to connect the other one

Try disconnecting the Displayport while the monitor is still connected and turned on, then reconnect. I had a similiar problem with my DP->VGA adapter when I first setted it up, and had to do this. Everything is working now though.
