Displayport to HDMI?

My current rig is in living room connected to TV via HDMI. I have pre orderded Oculus Rift. My only concern is that my GPU only has the 1 HDMI port, although 3 DP ports. I have seen some displayport to HDMI adapters, but wondering if these would work ok with the Rift? Obviously the CV1 isn't out yet, but perhaps someone has had similar experience with either of the DK's?

Plug the TV into the DP-HDMI and leave the port free for the other? The Startech ones work.

I second the coment re. Startech adaptors. I had connector issues when setting up Eyefinity on my system. Cheaper connectors just didn't work, whilst the Startech ones worked flawlessly - even with pretty unusua connectors.
