Hi,
I've got an old laptop (around 8 years old) that has finally given up the ghost (I think the HDD has failed). Being as old as it is I'm not sure it's worth replacing it (not even sure that's all that's wrong with it).
So I'm planning to just throw it away. Is there any special instruction for disposing of a laptop (because of the screen or anything)? What about the battery, can they be recycled with normal batteries?
If so are there any websites telling me exactly what I need to know/do?
Thanks.
