I've only ever had one Razer mouse over the years, and it used to have a wierd issue where sometimes it would start up fine, and others you would need to move it between USB ports for it to start up. Very wierd, and happened on two PC's and a laptop, so it wasnt a USB port issue.

As for why their products have been discontinued... :shrug:
