Well its done, all ready to print out and hand in tomorrow. There is nothing more i can do to it now.

I thought i would be happy and relieved at this stage, however I've got a feeling deep down that its just a steaming pile of trash. :(

Whoever said uni life was easy :(
 
It should be a good feeling when its done, you will always think you could have done more. But you have to draw the line somewhere

Go out and have a drink... or few lol
 
Dude dont beat yourself up about it. Its done and dusted. I found that after completing my diss, I was extremely over critical of it when proof reading for the 10th time the night before the hand in date. In the end I just wrapped it up and played some X-Box for a couple of hours which got my mind off it.

Go out and chill with your mates now. Oh and congrats on finishing your diss, good luck with it :)
 
It was a study into the Changing perceptions of the sporting hero. a sociological study which discusses things such as the emergence of professionalised sport and increased media intrusion on how we view our heroes.

I kniow, not the most interesting or most worthwhile subject but its something that interesets me.

It's only 6000 words as i chose to do a journal paper, I was hoping to get it published so that it would help me along with my MSc i was planning on doing.

Hmm, im gona have one last look to see if there is any more I can do, before following fluiduk's advice and getting completely sloshed later :)

Lucky you, i just finished a mini project on MRSA (5000 words) and i feel the same. I have another 8000 words to go for the main dissertation.

Just chill out and have some fun.
 
Thats cos its not in my Trust.

It is, however, in the FAQ. I'm sure you've read the FAQ else how would you know the sig rules? ;)
 
Christ mine was 30,000 words and one of my housemates managed 60,000 words.

plus we had to develop a working application

plus a presentation

plus I had 6 modules that year with a 3000 word essay and an exams for each one.

God im glad im not at uni anymore, work is such a joke compared to uni
 
More or less finished mine tonight, ready to hand in tomorrow morning. The deadlines not for about 6weeks but i need it in now to get it marked before easter so i can work on it again.

Feels so good though to have the majority of it done though. Final report with code and appendixes is nearing 40,000 words though :eek: Actual report is roughly 19,000. Hopefully they wont notice :p

Go out and celebrate though! :D

Essay is usually 2000 words - A Level/Degree
Dissertation is 15,000 to 20,000 words usually - Degree level
Thesis is 80,000 words - PHD
