Distasteful vegan TV ad

TV on in the background (C4) as you do and an ad for 'viva vegan' came on. In the advert a couple order a delivery of pulled pork from "just meat", only to get a delivery driver deliver a live pig with a "free meat cleaver".

Actually made me furious taking over my TV with their vegan propaganda cobblers. I have no problem with them advertising the "advantages of veganism" but unsolicited insulting of those who eat meat on prime TV made me red with rage. My complaint is on the way to the ASA!

People are so detached from it really. The OP is crying because he has hard a hard reminder he is eating an animal and he doesn't seem to like it very much.

I know exactly where my meat comes from. I try to buy my meat from a butcher and always buy British rather than low welfare stuff from abroad.

Comparatively, the UK has very high standards of animal welfare than pretty much every other country. I am satisfied with my position and I'm insulted these wallies think I want an unsolicited lecture on the subject
