Distributed computing e-petition

I appreciate the thought, but I won't be signing. I don't think it's the Government's place to get involved in such things and there are far more important things that the Government should be doing.

In any event there are downsides what with energy prices going up and fuel poverty. It also takes a certain type of person to keep hardware running 24/7 for this sort of thing. Most people turn their PCs on to do a bit of web/email, and then turn them off again.
