Distribution list for GAl

Hey guys,

Is it possible to create a distrbution list that is accessible via Global Access List?
The distribution list contains about 50 external email addresses and needs to be available to one of our departments, however I can't add it via outlook and I can't find a way to do it in Active Directory.

Any help appreciated

You need to create the external contacts as objects in ad before adding them to a distribution list. Process:

Creat contacts in AD (Suggest own OU for tidyness) repeat x50
Create a new group with type distribution with an exchange email address
Add all the contacts to the list
Refresh offline address book
Job done.

no probs, there's probably some really simple way but thats the obvious one.

There are simpler ways yes, but would require the use of a 3rd party tool to bulk add the objects. 50 users will take you no time really once you get into - or find some junior support-monkey to do it for you.

Getting to grips with DSADD would help.
