well it seems that the OLD post is being criticised so i started this thread to acquire some information about folks on these forums and this band

Bang on mate, someone expresses an opinion different to yours so must be just "trying to start a flame" (whatever that means) or looking to increase his post count.

iCraig, and everyone else who is a member of these forums is free to roam from thread to thread and post what they like as long as it doesn't break any of the rules.

The only person who is wasting his/her time is you by a) repeating this crap about starting flames in every post you make, and b) by listening to Disturbed in the first place. If you learned anything from the other thread that you needlessly repeated; they're pants.

I won't be going to see Disturbed live I don't think. Some of their songs are alright I guess every now and again, but I have better gigs to spend my money on Yndi Halda & Appleseed Cast mmmmmmmmm

I'm just puzzled that you drag up and old thread but then start a new thread on the same topic, instead of posting in the thread you've just bumped back up.

People talked about the Disturbed gig and the cancellation story in February, people will just be repeating their stories and opinions in here, so whats the point?

I did a search so that i wouldnt have to start a new thread.

U chose to start a flame(flame = trying to incite a forum argument by slating the topic and posts therein with no evidence in your original posting) that thread so i started a more relevant thread.

U post in that thread using the same argument and therefore keep that at the top of the forums, thanks for the help in getting my point across icraig.

I agree Disturbed are not every1's cup of tea I personally cant stand reggae but I would post in some1 thread saying

reggae is crap

leaving it open to ppl flaming me without my opinion.

My opinion of reggae is I find it hard to listen to therefore cannot and do not enjoy any of its music rythms.

I like disturbed and therefore open up/add to a thread because I personally have something to ask of the other that are also interested in disturbed and are hopefully seeing them on the same dates so we can (possibly) meet up.

a simple concept that u dont seem to grasp in any or your replies icraig but I thank u for trying to incite a forum argument as all u r doing is keeping this thread/topic alive(old as it may be)

edit:find the rule that sayd ppl are not allowed to revive a thread and I will gladly recind from this icraig.

I think that's commonly known as a "headache-inducing illogical" post. I'm certainly reaching for the paracetamol at the moment.

The question is, why start a new thread? When the same things will be said (and have been said for the most part) in the other thread. I love your "formal" definition of flame. How funny. The point you seem to have missed is that the phrase "trying to start a flame" has absolutely no meaning because flame isn't used like that. It's a verb. It would be like saying "trying to start a listen to music".

There isn't a rule, but Dons will tend to close useless threads because they are considered "spam". I have no idea what "recind" means, but you'll probably have to do it soon.
