Going to see them in october-was supposed to be april from what I remember, but it just dissappeared off their site!

Am really looking forward to seeing them live-has anyone else here seen/heard them live?????

Its been a while since Ive been to a gig-the last one was evanescence in birmingham, and metallica before that!

/puts down with the sickness on and grins :D :p :D

Disturbed are awful in my opinion then again I hate nu-metal so my opinion on them doesnt count. :p

I wouldnt mind going though as Nevermore are supporting them Id be out the door as soon as they had finished there set though. :D

Loved their 3 albums so far, so yep i'm going to see them, october 9th at london astoria, assuming they don't change dates again :p

I've seen them twice, and was blown away both times, David's vocals are amazingly strong live, lots of audience involvement, emotion dripping from the stage, these guys (David especially) really do get involved in the music.

Hope it's a great night!!

Wow, that is spooky

I actually spend most of my time in bristol for uni/placement though, although for the past 2 months i've been recovering from a broken leg down here in sunny crowborough :)

I don't class them really as nu-metal either, they are just different and good so i like them :)

How you getting to the gig, i'm gonna be taking the train (although from eltham not t wells) to get there, but not sure when it'll end so if it's before 12 then train back to eltham otherwise if it's after 12 i'll get someone to pick me up (gonna buy a day ticket, cheap++ :p)

Got tickets for Dragonforce in bristol in december, really looking forward to that as well, power metal \m/ :p

Has you listened to Believe recently?? This album I thought was really good at the time of release but now it sounds badly dated, but The Sickenss doesn't . Quite odd how that happens.

I've seen them 4 or 5 times and live they are really good.

Steve

Ive not had that probs with believe-theyre also one of the few groups where I like every track:)

PS yes-going up on train-maybe staying in a hotel-depends on money!

Sunny crowborough! :D

what area are you roughly?

Soz to hear about the broken leg!!!

Going to see them in Birmingham on the 6th I think it is. Not seen them before but really like their stuff, especially the latest offering. Oddly I haven't been to a gig in ages & before have seen evanescence & Metallica...hmmm :D

likewise saw Metallica at Earls court...supported by Godsmack, damn it was good. Evanescence was in Cardiff though ;)

yep, godsmack were better than I thought-was good besides drunken falling down steps! :p

Although rather than waiting in the queue for the gents the other half dragged me into the ladies-with no queue-damn some of the things I saw in there! :D

What date did you go?

I think believe is their 'poorest' album, still very good imo, but i prefer the sound of the sickness and also ten thousand fists, although ten thousand fists fits nicely between the sound of the sickness and believe...
