Hey all, Am on plusnet fibre and lately I've been having amazing packet loss, I've been looking at the plusnet router for awhile and I thought I might invest in a more powerful router.
I got the Netis N600, Okay reviews, No over the top price tag etc.
So I set it all up, Got it to run the internet no issues but now am having tons of issues.
Youtube will endlessly buffer and then for no reason start working, 2 hours later back to endlessy buffering.
Some websites are slow to load where others are amazingly quick.
Some games derp out and other games are super fast, I'd say even faster ping/packet wise than they've ever been.
So whats causing the youtube/games/web games to not load or time out? Is it something with the new router and plusnet/BT's stupid box thing? Conflicts? It wouldn't shock me considering it's sort of a cheap router rather than some insane bit of kit, I do want a asus router but its abit out of my price range at the moment.
Am going to get in touch with plusnet again and speak to them, Ask them about my router and see what they say, I honestly think its more of a silly BT Line/box issue.
