[Div] Height 100%?

Hi there,

I have been googling for a solution for a 100% DIV height and all I came up with was something that worked, but it created something where you had to scroll down, if that makes any sense :|

I remember robmiller, i think it was, suggesting a solution, something like "faux columns", or similar and I have lost the link to the explaination and tutorial.

I can remember the concept and I can replicate it, but I want a centered column on the screen so if I am setting a background image it doesn't quite work? or is there something I have to do to get it to work?

Is there an alternate 100% DIV height hack that doesn't add the extra bit to the bottom?

'Faux columns' are basically background images with columns that are centered and repeat along the y-axis (Sly Edit). Then the appropriate divs for div layout are applied.
