Hi all I have a valve on my central heating that flicks between HW and CH. I've noticed that it seems to get stuck sometimes when it should be only running HW (i.e. some water goes through the rads when it shouldn't). I've changed the motorised bit so I assume it's the vale that's the issue. Is it worth trying to clean it up, or am I just better doing a straight up replace? The valve does seem to move reasonably freely, however it might not go fully to the HW side which could be why it's getting stuck.
