I've recently set up my new @blueyonder.co.uk email address and would like all my mail redirecting from my old (yet still in use) @hotmail.co.uk email address.

Can I do this, and if so, how?

Not easily no, Hotmail is a free service based on revenue generated by advertising, they need you to log in to make it worth while hence no pop3 etc. As for recently setting up a Blueyonder account they stopped new registrations on BY quite a while back and moved everything over to the VM domain didn't they. That said i still have a cableinet account!

How do providers like gmail/googlemail survive with full pop3 functionality and redirects?

I'm with VM - my area used to be BY so I still get an @blueyonder.co.uk address with an option to change it @virginmedia.co.uk when they roll them out.

Forwarding
