Divinity original sin 2 released (Alpha)

Just been released on steam, Alpha has anyway for £30. Looks great, 7.5gb dowload.

Downloaded mine but won't start it till it's finished and probably wait for the inevitable enhanced edition. Barely touched the first one so ill make sure I finish that one first.
 
I really enjoyed the first one up until I just kept getting RNG'd to death in fights for no reason. I would literally do the same fight 3-4 times and I would get killed, then just do it again and not even take damage. Just really odd things like missing hits when 99% of the time it should hit, but for the last 10 swings I miss. :( May go back again soon and try again.
 
Think I'll wait for full release. First game was good, and I was impressed with how it tried new things. I really hope they improve combat though, which became far too slow towards the end. Fighting one enemy could take up to 20 minutes depending on where they were situated!

I am really looking forward to trying this... Tyranny, Tides of Numenara, Seven: Days Long Gone and this... Great time for RPGs!
 
I really want to play the first game (enhanced) with someone. Only played SP, not very far in and think I am missing out.
 
Put a few hours in last night, had few crash which was expected, but on the whole looking forward to the main release. Balance seems somewhat different in that with only 5 or so action points, you can use 2 ability points while moving, seems lesser abilities / actions do not take quiet so many action points so you can get more stuff done.

Do quiet like the different races you can pick from now along with their background story.
 
Enjoyed the first one, will grab this one also, but probably in about a years time once it is cheaper and all patched up.
