Divinity: Original Sin overhauled for PS4 and Xbox One

Eurogamer:
Divinity: Original Sin, "hands down the best classic-style role-playing game in years", is coming to PS4 and Xbox One. What's more, it's been overhauled for the occasion, transformed into an Enhanced Edition that will launch at the end of the year.

So much has changed. A team of around 40 has been working on the Enhanced Edition for a year, Swen Vincke, head of developer Larian, told me. Everything from the graphics to story to the ending have been changed. And PC and Mac players won't miss out.

Didn't pick this up on PC but heard good things about it. Can't argue with more of these style of games coming to console though as I prefer it over PC gaming.

Would certainly pick this up as Diablo 3 worked really well control wise on console

It was like this in the deus ex revision thread too. People tend to like brand new things more here.

I did complete DOS a long time ago, so not sure I will be playing it again. But might do with a partner at some point.

I got it, but have only played an hour or so with the wife on co-op. Waiting for my friend to come back from holiday to play it co-op online because with the wife it will take years to complete, if ever with the amount of time she will put in to it. I found it enjoyable for what I did play of it though.

was torn between this and Wasteland 2, decided on Wasteland 2 as it was out first and £20 cheaper... enjoying Wasteland 2 but fully intend on picking this up at some point next year but I need to finish far too many games to pick up another 60 hour marathon.

The split screen actually works well, not annoying and distracting like on the Lego games.

It's nothing like Diablo. It's a proper old school RPG game based on AD&D. More akin to games like Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights etc.
