Hi guys,

Can any html gurus here recommend me any books or online recourses that would really help me get to grips with using <div> tags in my CSS?

I’ve got a lot of generalised html/xhtml books, but nothing that looks that closely at what I really need :(

I’m at last, making the big jump from using the <table> tag in Notepad, Dreamweaver etc, to making my websites built more around CSS and in particular divs for they’re layout :)

Cheers,

SW.

i never really got into tables.. but ultimately..

divs are boxes, like a table cell, you just have one big div to put all your stuff in, a container, and then smaller divs in that where youve divided up your content.. its simple!

i found http://www.w3schools.com quite good for some general info on how to do it, although im nowhere near great yet as youd know if you stumbled into my threads on here recently, im deffinatly getting there.

I'm still looking for any decent books around that would cover this area in particular, has anyone got any definite recommendations of titles that might be able to guide me ;)

I seem to be going round in circles on the net :(

Cheers,

SW.
