Hey guys, i've got a divx movie on my PC that i would like to play on my TV but my DVD player does not support it, is there a way i can convert it to a DVD format whilst retaining its quality so it can play on my standalone player?

Boo

edit: ok i just done a google and there is loads but what is a good program to use?

For AVi's "convertxtodvd" is a must, I would imagine it supports that format also?!?!

Install, drag and drop file into convert windows, hit convert......hit burn and your there!!

i only use this program and DVD santa has rubbish demo band around sreen when playing and you can add back grounds, sub's and all sorts with ConvertX

give it a whirl! :)

i've used nero vision and winavi in the past both worked well, nero vision has menu creation (perhaps winavi does too, but i missed it), but winavi is faster

evulboo:

WinAVI, Tmpgenc 3/4 Xpress, TMPGEnc Plus 2.5, etc, the ones from TMPGEnc (Pegasys) seem to be extremely good, encode AVI into MPEG2 then DVD Author is required to provide DVD Video Files for burning onto blank DVD media. :)

ConvertXtoDVD does exactly what it says on the tin :) really pleased with it so bought it

Thx for advice
