DivX / XviD upscaling...

Is there a way to upscale XviD or DivX while i'm not watching it?

I want to be able to set a program to upscale the video file, then I can go to work. When I come home it should be done

You mean create larger files from SD avi's? No point, just use ffdshow enable scaling and it'll do it in real-time. Why do you want to create scaled avi's?

Just a guess, but maybe to use them on divx players, which dont have as good upscaling?

If you do that the divx player will just refuse to play it.

No it wont cos it plays 720p XviDs perfectly.

So... Is there a program that can do this? :confused:

Maybe VirtualDub? That seems to be able to do everything. Just a guess though.

Slightly off topic: What are the best settings to use with ffdshow to upscale avi? I can find plenty of guides for DVD, but none for avi.
