DIY Battery/Solar installation..

@Ron-ski do you have a set order for importing / exporting stuff, e.g. always import for battery overnight, export all solar, then export anything remaining in the battery?

@Stu999 Yes.

• In the winter I will charge the batteries as much as possible in the 3 hour Flux window, 8kW inverter means about 24kWh into the battery or there about.
• In the summer I charge to about 80%
• Then I let the battery charge to 100% and then export excess.
• Come 16:00 to 19:00 I export down until 45%

I'm currently adding another 6.8kWp of panels, so I may limit the charge rate and thus export excess whilst charging the batteries, with the intention the batteries reach 100% just before 4pm, but this is likely only going to be required during the summer months.
I'll will have 11.5 kWp hanging off my 8kW Victron inverter so will likely need to balance battery charging and exporting to make the most of it, if the batteries were full the inverter would only be able to utilise 8kW of solar.

After a bit of a wait, I got my g99 back in Jan, and after a little windfall, I just bought a sunsynk inverter and a 15kwh battery from fogstar
