DIY CCTV System Advice

Hi all. New here... Browsed these forums before now and seen some sound advice so was hoping i could pick someones brain about a CCTV system..

I work in a fairly big facility, 3 acres, but the area in question / needs to have CCTV is roughly 50 feet x 50 feet. I need a something similar to this CCTV System on eBay - However this doesn't have any camera's etc..

My budget is simply as low as possible! I don't mind attacking this from any angle i.e. building a cheap machine to run CCTV software and using USB Cameras.... Or building a Pre Built Box like above...

I literally don't know what I need to look for to ensure the system I'm going to use will be decent.

Something to consider the hours of recording are from 3pm-7am so a large chunk will be during the night / dark times.

Any advice, info, links etc would be appreciated.

If you are thinking about going down the PC route, have a look at a pice of linux software called ZoneMinder.

I use it for my home CCTV, and I use a mix of analog and network ip cameras.
