DIY electrical. Help connecting a broken Live wire

This isn't static electricity precautions we're talking here - you don't want to be grounded. If you are and you touch a live wire, you've guaranteed that the amps will pass straight through your body to earth.

Not being grounded is the thing!

That's why I thought it salient to ask about his 'grounded' comment. Worried me a bit too. Nobody else saw fit to question though. Phfft.
