DIY Phase Cooling

Has anyone made there own pahse change cooling system? have looked into this and seems do-able enough, with the right amount of time, just wondered if anyone had attempted this or had any links/thoughts they could share?

I did not say it would be easy, compressors are easy enough to come by, lots of broken fridges in the world! the evap is the main stumbling block, although have found some people that sell them, mostly in the states though, so postage costs add up.

you dont need a licence, just common sense for the refrigerants.

yeah, tooling is a problem for the evap, but your right the principal is simple enough.
